Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I am an Indian citizen. I wanted to bequeth my inherited property to my sister who is an American citizen now. In the year 1994, I wrote on a blank white paper of my intention to her ( with my wife and our only child as co-signatories mentioning that there is no objection on their part.) No registration of the transfer of title took place since. Now, I have decided to revoke this offer and informed my sister on a stamp paper ( with my wife and our only child as co-signatories mentioning that there is no objection on their part.) in the year 2012.
My sister is insisting that the property belongs to her as per my previous
commitment.
Is she correct?
please advise.
Thank you
Naresh

Dear Naresh,
No, the blank paper intention is irrelevant and meaningless without proper registration.

dear client...
Such white paper transfer of NOC is not valid... you can claim ur property back...
