Legal Question in Real Estate Law in

Whether judjement/ preliminary decree can be set aside in the on-going final decree proceedings due to change in the law. this is in regard to partition suit-the judgement is bad in law- as per hindu sucession act, women should get equal share in the property.

the amendments in law of succession do not have retrospective effect.
