Dear Sir / Madam,

Notarizing is meaningless and is not at all required for any Agreement for Leave and License (ALL). Since the ALL you are referring to is of 11 months duration only which is less than a year, only payment of Stamp Duty amount of Rs. 1,200/- (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred Only) thereon is compulsory / mandatory, and registration is optional. If the ALL exceeds a year but is less than or equal to two years duration, payment of Stamp Duty amount of Rs. 2,400/- (Rupees Two Thousand Four Hundred Only) and registration thereon is compulsory. If the ALL exceeds two years duration, payment of Stamp Duty amount of Rs. 3,600/- (Rupees Three Thousand Six Hundred Only) and registration thereon is compulsory, not only in Pune, but all over Maharashtra.

Regards,
