i m from hindu family. my grand father expired 20 yrs back. he has 3 son and 2 doughter. 1 son expired 2 yrs back, another son has no children. both the doughters r married. one of doughter bad intentiannly live with my uncle. i want to transfer my grand father property into my name

Dear Sir / Madam,

Good idea. Go ahead and do it. If you grandfather did not leave behind a Will, his property first vests in your grandmother. Thereafter, it gets divided / partitioned / split into 5 shares, each of the sons and daughters entitled to a share. If you are the son or daughter, you should transfer your share in the property to your name.
