Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I have a Mhada Bunglow at Borivali. I have constructed 2 shops each 100sqft (carpet) in the front side and rest 1400sqft is residencial. What is the procedure for change of use for 2 shops for commercial use , from BMC.
I have applied for shop and establishment licence from BMC. If there is any other certificate required. As BMC officers are harrassing me?

Dear Sir / Madam,
If you have already paid the prevailing Property Tax (PT) of your property, and inspection fees to the Shops & Establishment Ward at the Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika (BMC) office in Borivli; I see no reason for the Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika (BMC) officials to harass you. Meeting the Dy. Municipal Commissioner in your Ward with a letter submitting photocopies of the PT and inspection fees receipts to resolve the issue is recommended.
