Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My Mother in law has acquired some property as a gift from her father. In case she has made a will in favor of a third person, can my husband claim for that property? In Case she has not made any will, Can he still claim?

No, till she is alive, no claim can be made. And she can gift it to anybody.
