Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I am an NRI based in Saudi Arabia and wish to sell my property in India. Is a GPA made on plain paper and attested by Indian embassy in Riyadh valid in India for sale of property? If not valid, then how can I make a valid POA here in Saudi Arabia?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Ideally property transactions are directly entered by the two Owners entering into an Agreement for Sale and authenticating it themselves. Once the deal is finalized, you may tell your family members to courier the original Agreement for Sale to you in Saudi Arabia and you should authenticate it yourself. A GPA to complete the registration formalities with the Tahsildar / District Registrar may be given to any family member residing in India. Here too, they will have to type the Power of Attorney on a Rs. 100/- Non Judicial Stamp paper and send it to you in Saudi Arabia for your authentication.

Regards,
