Can ownership of land be kept by builder even if top floor has been sold by him :: I i wanted to buy 2 flat in G+3 (every floor 1 flat) building. Ground floor and 1st floor is with the builder's brother while others are on sale.
Please advice what are the documents which i should verify before buying the other 2 flats and if all the papers are ok then who will be owner of the land. will it be shared on the bases of flats and what procedure shall i follow to make that land equally share inbetween.

In Maharashtra State, construction and sale of flats is governed by a separate law. Ensure compliance as per that law.
