No the property more than Rs. 100/- in India can be relinquished on the affidavit, The property has to be relinquished only by way of registered document for the proper title transfer

No the immovable property more than Rs. 100/- in India can not be relinquished on the affidavit, The property has to be relinquished only by way of registered document - Relinquishment Deed executed by the person relinquishing the share
