Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Pls guide - My Father is having a Property - House with a part of it rented as Shops.But in the Registered Map it is shown as Rooms. Now he wants to sell this shops... Will this be sold as commercial Property or as a Residential one.

Another Question is Can i purchase this property from my Father through Bank Loan.

Dear Sir / Madam,

A part or portion of a house if sold will be treated as a residential sale.

Yes, If the lending rules of the bank permit it to grant a loan for such a purchase.
