What is the procedure for transferring jointly owned property in the name of one joint owner fully? What are the issues related to stamp duties for the same? Property was purchased in 1986 and stamp duty was not there at that time. And property value is around 1 Cr now. Property is in the name of mother and son. Mother wants to transfer fully in the name of son.

Depends upon State, mode of transfer Gift or sale or relinquish etc.
