Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hello, i own a property that has come down to me by inheritance, the property has been in the family for over a century now. However i do not have my Mother Deed with me i have also set people to look for the document in the relevant offices however havent been able to find it.. I hope you can suggest a suitable action in order to rectify this problem im facing.

There may not be problem if property acquired before registration act made applicable to place where property situated.
