Property Partition
This is the case in India.
They are 4 brothers and sisters. The youngest sister got the house registered in her name from her mother. But the property is in the name of the father.The house tax is paid in father's name.
How can the property be divided? Can the youngest daughter sell the entire property or hold the entire property in her name.? What is the best solution?
Both the parents have died 20 years back.

the youngest daughter is only entitled to a share of the property and for that you need to file a suit for partition of the property and also seek restraint orders against the youngest daughter restraining her from disposing off the property or creating any third party interest. in case you are settled abroad, you need not appear in india and the suit may be filed through an attorney.
