Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I have purchased a flat in Pune in the year 2011. Based on agreement, there are about 1.5 lacs towards general charges. Recently they released final demand letter and i paid the same amount and requested for possession letter. but now the builder is asking for more amount for increase in general charges (eg MSEB charges). According to agreement the possession date was dec 2012 but got delayed till july 2013. Will i still be liable to pay to the increase in general charges to builder.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should penalize the Developer for the delay in the possession from December, 2012 till July, 2013 by recovering the interest / income loss on account of delay from the final demand letter of Rs. 1.50 lakhs, and only pay the net remaining balance to the Developer with your letter in reply thereto to the Developer.
