Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I Purchased a land from a lady which was actually NAZUL PLOT a month back and got her thumb print on rs 100 stamp paper in the presence of two nearby witnesses.I got NOTARY done within 15 days of this agreement. But after 20 days of notary the lady died.Now her daughter is claiming right over the property .Do i have any solution ? Kindly Reply.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Whenever a land or property is purchased, no sooner the agreed purchase consideration is paid to the seller, it is immediately registered in the name of the purchaser in the record of the Tehsildar / District Registrar. If that is not done, you will need to prove your case to establish your right in the title of the land.
