what is redevelopement rule under slum rehabiliation scheme in mumbai for first floor tenants evety one says no flats are alloted to first floor tenants if structure is of after 1995

also pls advice on the rights of landlords means who are only owners of structures and land owner is different what happens if land owner and tenants sighn agreement with developer without including structure owner than how and on what doccuments structure owner can fight case

Dear Sir / Madam,

There is no such rule that first floor tenants residing after 1995 will not be allotted a flat in an Slum Rehabilitation Authority Project (SRA).

Yes, there is no such concept of the structure owner in India. It is only the land owner, be it the Society in most of the cases which is legally entitled to enter into an MOU and Agreement with the Developer / Builder for redevelopment.
