Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Respected Sir,
I had purchased a room in an under construction load bearing building in nalasopara. It was demolished by the vasai-virar municipal corporation. Since it was under construction, the builder promised us to give us another room in some another area. My query is that incase he tries to cheat or ditch us can we file a case against him, considering the fact that flat which we had purchased was in load bearing building. I also have Agreement for sale registered before notary public.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, you can file a legal suit against the Developer to provide you with a flat in the nearby vicinity, else return back all the monies paid by you to the Developer along with interest @ 18% per annum for the total duration of which your monies were with the Developer.
Regards,
