Is it safe if we are giving the flat on rent for 11 months on a 100 rupees stamp paper. If tenant does not vacate the flat after 11 months what can we do. Should we register the 11 month agreement to make it danger proof to avoid unnecessary complications

Dear Sir / Madam,

Registration of an Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) less than a year is optional. Should the Licensor refuse to renew the leave and license agreement, the Licensee has no locus standi to live in the premises and he / she can be tasked for "illegal trespassing" into the premises by the Licensor.
