Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hello Sir,
I have given a cheque of 50,000 to a builder for purchasing a flat but we have not done any agreement or other.
Later I came to the conclusion that this flat is beyond my budget and also told him that I want to cancel booking of that flat. I also told him to return that cheque but he is not giving back and intimidating me that I will deposit this cheque in bank and if payment of that cheque is not done it will be announced as bounce. Before that I have requested bank to stop payment of this cheque.
Now I think that I should directly visit police station and complaint against this builder or what should I do??
