Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Sir , i have a property in delhi , which has been acquired by the govt and i had been granted compensation for it . The compensation was granted around 20 years before but i got to know about it just 3 days back
The problem is that the property was on the name of my grand grand father and the authorities which would grant me compensation ask for a khasra number that i dont have .
Also i dont have any documents for the property, but i am sure that the property was registered on my grand grand fathers name.
How can i find the khasra number?

The acquisition proceeding must be containing the khasara no.if the payment is already been released you need to prove only you succession.
