Can a society make a law that requires a flat owner to take permission from the society to show his flat to a prospective buyer? My society in Mumbai claims that my act of bringing a prospective buyer with an agent to show my flat is illegal as I have not taken permission from them.

if it is a bye law approved by the registrar, the society is right
