Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hello, We sold our house to a buyer, who paid 50% of total amount we agreed to sell house for. Other 50%, he was going to give a check from Bank upon approval of his Loan. We did a dastavej of house upon receiving 50% of amount, however now he is not giving us remaining balance. Bank has issued him a check for loan which he applied for purchase as he had requested, and check was to be issued on my father's name directly from bank. He has received check but now not handing it to my father. What can we do now or what are the options? We did a dastavej just a week back, can we cancel it and take back our home by giving him his money back? Thank you.
