Dear Sir / Madam,
The landlord-tenant arrangement has been abolished in 1985 and the Licensor-Licensee arrangement vide an Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) of duration ranging from 11 months to 3 years duration, has taken effect in India.
1). You should request the landlord to transfer the receipt in the name of your mother.
2). You should ensure that you abide by the terms and conditions of the arrangement with the landlord, such that he does not think on the lines of eviction.
