Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

We are staying on the top floor of a multi family home (1 home on each floor - 4 houses in all); and have been living happily for the past 2 decades. I would like to know if all 4 houses have equal right to the terrace or does it belong to me, as there is nothing specifically mentioned in our property papers about terrace. Also, there is a gate right on our floor, which once closed doesn't give anybody else access to the terrace, except my family.
I had asked this qn earlier, but didn't get any positive response, rather that it was responded earlier - unfortunately am unable to find a similar situation going through the search options on Lawguru. Could you please help

Dear Sir / Madam,

Unless the land is specifically and solely in your name, the terrace is common property and it equally belongs to all four houses.
