Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
we are tenant of a room in a building for last 45 years. the room is in my mothers name, first my elder brother use to stay in the above room , after some years he shifted to thane and the room was vacant so the landloard started asking for the room so I started staying in the above said room from 2002,the building has gone for re development from 2011 and I was the occupant of the room at the time of redevelopment but the ownermade the agreement in my mothers name as it was in my mothers name now when the building is ready to give the possection, my elder brother with the help of my brother-in -law trying to take the room from the ownes giving legal letters signed by my mother , what should i do please help

the room is in your mothers name and you were in possession only for 9 years. Your mother is entitled to give the room to your brother.
