if this plot is in a registered society than you dont have to go into this process at all, but if the situation is other wise then note.

1.. for stamp paper buying you dont need any document at all.

2..for going in to the process after preparing the set for the signatures at the time of payment of purchase land. you need to get permission from the local sub registrar office for that only a photocopy of the owners title deed is enough.

3. then after permission sought from the Sub Reg. office and after getting it executed ie signed by the seller and off couese making the payment ( at this time you should seek all the documents from the seller his id card copy ,and of ( copy) witnessess, their photographs, fard bai and certified copy of the previous title deed ,( if available then AKS Shajra etc). File this all for registering with the sub / registrar office. This is all be done with the assistance of a Local Commission.
