Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My uncle own a piece of land and house in it. My father and me have been staying on this proprty for 20 years whicle uncle and his family stayed other places.

Uncle died, now his kids want to take possession of this land and house. We are staying here so long, we donot have other place to stay. Unles kids have some flats and land with them.

How can we get possession of this place even though land is in uncles name. We are staying here for so long, we must have some legal right ..

Legal rights may depends on nature of possession like adverse possession, tenant's possession etc.
