Sir i want u know the law against shop lifting in india? How much fine we can impose on a person got caught in shoplifting?

No fine... however he will be liable for 379 IPC which will cause you more harassment as such you may have to go and depose before court. You may also file a suit for damages against him. You may also drop a detailed query at [email protected]
