Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India

A girl was eve teased by a man and when the brother and mother objected, all the three were beaten up to the severe injuries by a crowd of muslim group(maximum 30-35 persons) outside Jamaat community hall. FIR is written, only 1 major accused was arrested, his 2 bail petition was rejected 3rd one he got the bail, had the investigating officers been efficient remaining 2 major accused wouldnt had got the anticipatory bail in advance and 1 juvenile is elloped out of state. The victims were admitted in the hospital for 9 days and still in mental trauma. In such an unco-operative system of law and order, Within what time limit the chargesheet should be filed? and What should be done in this case to get them punished for the heneous act being committed???

if the accused are out on bail there is no prescribed time limit to file chargesheet in the matter.Keep the pressure on the police to investigate the case .you can approach the highcourt if need be.

If they played the tricks then you should also go and play the trick and cancell their bail through court. but it is not so easy. only 5% bails cancelled that too with hard work.

Today law is very strict on eve teasing. Put the reference of Delhi rape case to make your point strong everywhere.

So engage an expert in your locality and show them the power of a woman.
