Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India
I and another Indian girl studied in foreign in same college. We had sex multiple times. She became emotionally close. She sent a legal notice to my indian home according to indian law that I should marry her if not she was ready to file rape or 420 case against me. I replied very promptly denying everything in her first notice. Now how long does she have before she can either file a case or send another notice to me. If nothing happens for more than 4 months , if she files case after a long gap, then will it be seen neg point against her if she files case against me in the future.
