Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India

I am a victim of sexual harassment at work place. I complained to the management but no action was taken so i resigned. Then I approached National Commission of Women and they have registered my complaint on 02 July 2014. Now an Internal Committee has been constituted on 18 Jul to inquire into the allegations.

can I object to the inquiry committee with regard to the following :-

1. Presiding Officer is herself a witness whom I would like to cross examine

2. Other members of the committee are junior to me in the status in the company

3. Presiding Officer and Members have no legal knowledge and have no experience in inquiring such case.

4. Details of NGO invloved in the inquiry committee have not been divulged to me.

I know that no finding will come out in your favor if the alleged act has been committed by a superior officer of the company. The points u have raised is genuine and you can ask for reconstitution of the panel. I think, you should lodge a police complaint at the same time.
