Hi
I deal in unstitched material hence I don't have VAT certificate and never applied for it, I am also registered seller at snapdeal.com however since Aug'15 snapdeal has disabled my account and they are asking for VAT certificate to continue business with them.
If unstitched material is exempted from VAT. Can any website ask for the certificate to sale under this category and start charging VAT on the products which are exempted from the tax.

you have to take vat certificate for TIN no.but you dont pay vat as per order of exemption
