To work as a freelancer for IT service is there any need to pay any service tax other than income tax?

If you work as individual then you do not need to charge individual clients but you have to charge companies once your annual turnover exceeds nine lacs. This exemption is available every year. To know us better, please click on the links below:

Yes! May you work as a freelancer or whatever name you use,you are liable to pay ST once the turnover exceeds the basic exemption limit or if any of your client,to whom you serve, deducts TDS then you are advised to file the ST return.
