Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
If a deceased person leaves a Will with immoveable properties in say three different states (valued at more than Rs.10000 each), will the Will have to be probated in the court of the District Judge in all the districts where the properties are situated?
Furthermore, if the Will is sought to be probated in the High Court of the last place of abode of the deceased will the probate order of the High Court be valid in all the states where the properties are situated?

Dear Sir / Madam,
A Probate on the Will can be obtained from the nearest Court where the deceased was residing, irrespective of whether the properties mentioned in the Will are located in more than one State.
Regards,
