Does the executor have to up keep the property until it is distributed to the rightful owner even if the stepmother is living on the property

An executor's role is to administer the legal estate of the deceased. The estate should be probated as soon as possible and the property should be assented to the beneficiary. If persons are living in the property who have no legal interest therein, action for possession of property should be taken.
