If the property has been purchased by the son with monies of the father than at the death of father, the daughters may claim their share of inheritance. However, please note if the father during his life time gifts any of his properties to his son, the daughters have no recourse. This is because of simple reason that an owner of the property is free to dispose of his property (during his life time) in any manner he likes (as the owner has absolute authority over the property due to his �ownership rights�)

One more thing, the right of inheritance of the children accrues after the death of the parents and not during their life time. A daughter may not compel parents to give her (or gift her) something out of their (parent�s) property (on basis of right of inheritance).
