Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Trinidad and Tobago

My father passed away in 2010 and left our home to my 4 siblings and me. He named my aunt as the executrix. He had a will which is with the Attorney handling the estate. We have not seen a copy of the will yet, since they will not release it to us until the property has been transferred to us (???). Can you tell me the steps in the probate process please? We are unsure of what needs to be done by us, our aunt, or the attorney. So far we (the children) have supplied notarized letters for our identification. We have been given a copy of the Deed of Assent. What are the next steps?

The deed of assent is the final step. Peruse the deed of assent and note who are the beneficiaries named in the deed. If your names are on the deed, your are the owners.

You can obtain a copy of the entire file at the probate section of the High Court, Knox Street, Port-of-Spain,
