Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My grand mother had gifted my mother an immovable(house)property.My grand father gifted another house to his son(my uncle).now during that time my uncle pledged in a 10 ruppes stamp paper that he has no right to the other property .Now after my Grand mother's death he is claiming share . can he do it. Can he cause any trouble if we try to sell the property?

You r safe to some extent. But that stamp paper can be called into question. Go ahead with the sale though.
