my grandfather purchased a resdential plot of his own expenses ,after he died without making a will the above said property tranferred to my father,his name is displayed on property card,my father made a registerd will giving all rights to his son,my qustion is that is the grandfathers res plot an ancestral plot and do i have rights, i am daughter who has not got share from my father due to will,i am hindu,maharashtra

Dear Madam,
Since your father has already Willed the property to his son, irrespective of whether it is ancestral or self acquired property, your father by virtue of being the absolute owner has the right to deal with the property in the manner he best deems fit.
