How long does it take to obtain a Deed of Assent

A deed of assent should take no longer than one week to be prepared, executed, stamp duty and registered. Obtaining a certified copy was a problem in the recent past with waiting time of up to three months. A certified copy is usually obtained within 6 weeks of the registration. In my practice I advice my clients to expect a two months time limit to have the entire process completed,
