Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Some major flaws noticed in an unregistered typed Will are :- 1. the first page in the unregistered Will of two typed pages is not authenticated by signatures of the Executant of the Will. 2. There is a doubt of authenticity of his urdu signature at page two of the Will since theydo not match his previous urdu signatures. 3. The attesting witnesses are his two lawyers whose particulars are hand written and not typed in the dotted spaces left by the typist. Question; Is the unregistered Will valid especially when it is unsigned on its Page No 1?

Dear Sir / Madam,

A Will need not be registered. It is sufficient if the Testator (maker) of the Will has signed the Will at the end on the last page in the presence of two witnesses who have also signed thereon to signify that the Testator has signed the Will in their presence. If the Testator has not signed all the previous pages, it still remains a valid Will.

Regards,
