Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
PIO had bank fixed deposit in India. Dies in USA without nomination in his FD. How can his wife, named in his will as sole successor, be able to claim FD in India?

His Wife has to get Succession Certificate from the Indian Court and based on that she can get FD from the Bank.
However, before doing so, please consult the bank and they will advise you what to do
