Hi,

The probate section is hell. A simple search that can be done in minutes is taking months. Please find out what exactly is the problem. If there are queries they must be answered and your application goes on a list for checking that will take several months.

On my last visit to the Probate Section I met Minister Hinds and discussed the problems applicants face on a daily basis. The Minister admitted that he is aware of the problems and will look into it. There is an information desk outside the probate section that was used to provide updates, list queries and do simple tasks as filing searches. This desk has not functioned for more than six months,

I suggest you visit the probate section yourself and check the progress of your application. Get the Est no. from your Attorney-at-Law but please be prepared to spend the entire day and be told your file is on a list for checking, Good Luck
