Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Requesting if you can inform me by reproducing the section under the appropriate law which states that Probate (in respect of transfer of a property which is already bequeathed to the legal heir through a valid and registered will) is mandatory only in METROPOLITAN CITIES ( CHENNAI, DELHI, KOLKATA & MUMBAI)

Dear Sir / Madam,

The rule regarding Probate to be obtained from the Court on a Will is uniform across the Union of India. (Section 374 of the Indian Succession Act).
