Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Guyana
At the time of the execution of the conveyance, Alex and his wife Eunice had three children, Lucy, Mary and Nancy. Alex died in 2006. Eunice started dating Mark after the death of her husband. Eunice died in September 2008, leaving a will by which she devised land to Mark. It is common ground that the three children are the heirs of Eunice. The children are contesting the validity of will on the grounds that their mother had only a one acre share of the property and that each of them is entitled to one acre and no more. Discuss the issues in relation to Wills.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Merely dating Mark after the demise of Alex is not sufficient for Mark to be entitled to any ahare of Eunice's "estate" unless Mark was not only Eunice's caretaker but also her legally wedded husband. Otherwise, the three children are legally right in contesting Eunice's Will of her estate to Mark. Mark has no legal grounds in th eyes of law to stake his claim of Eunice's property.
