Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
There is no will of my father. Will the agreement of family partition of cash earned by my father and property bought by my father with my sign, my brother's signature, my mother's signature and signatures of my sisters be regarded legal and accepted in court ? Agreement is hand written on a simple paper and not registered. My father is not alive. We are two brothers and two sisters. My mother is alive. Is there need of signs of witnesses? My father and mother married only once.

sure shot legal
No, this would not be sufficient. Execute a proper family partition deed and get it registered. Such sorts of agreement will not be valid and can be challenged at any time. Fore detail--
