Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Will a Succession certificate granted u/s 372 of the Indian Succession Act by a competent court in response to a petition by a legal heir of a deceased person apply only for a particular movable property mentioned in the petition or will be equally applicable for all other properties left behind by that person though not mentioned in the petition?

Please, clarify.
