In India if I have a retention salary which will be given only after completion of a certain duration. What will happen if the company removes the employee before the completion of retention period. Should the employee get the proportionate amount

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the Company terminates the services of an employee while he / she is serving the notice period, the Company is liable to pay the entire remaining notice period salary to the resigned employee.

Yes. The employee is entitled the pay for the period he had worked. It's a matter of right
