Dear Sir / Madam,

If your grade pay is merged with basic pay, your gross salary is Rs. 7,000/- per month for a 8 hours shift at 6 days a week, with one weekly off, that comes to 25 days in a month. Even if you are to simply find out the hourly rate for a total of 200 working hours in a month, the per hour rate works out to Rs. 35/- So for doing extra eight hours duty after your regular shift working, you should be paid minimum Rs. 280/- for that extra eight hours duty. You should submit a written representation signed by all the 170 security guards to the Management.
