Legal Question in Disability Law in Alabama

return to work

I have been out of work due to a disability. My doctor has released me to return to work since I am now in remission, however, after hearing of my pending return to work my employer changed my job requirements saying I would have to pass a dexterity test which they know I cannot physically do so I will not be allowed to return to work. Is this legal?

If the job description has changed, it is unlikely that the change is legal. You should consult with an attorney in your area to discuss what possible remedies you may have in order to redress this wrong.
